In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support in a warm, home-like environment, ensuring residents' safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energy and empathy will foster a positive atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity for all residents. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact in a supportive community setting. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to promote independence and comfort Monitor residents' vital signs and health status regularly, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring safety at all times Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assistive devices, ensuring safe transfers and positioning Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred Background check and fingerprint clearance required TB-test required Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or behavior management are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families Valid driver's license preferred for driving residents or running community errands Join us in creating a caring environment where every resident feels valued and supported.
