As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, home health, and long-term care facilities. Your role will focus on delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This position offers an energizing opportunity to positively impact lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient conditions by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining detailed care plans Administer medications and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring a safe environment Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with patient transfers and mobility assistance Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives the respect and attention they deserve.
