This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care in various settings. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Perform light housekeeping duties including (but are not limited to): dusting, sweeping/vacuuming, cleaning, changing bed linens, laundry, meal preparation, washing dishes, and ensuring a safe living environment. Providing transportation and accompanying clients on errands and appointments Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and memory care through tailored activities and compassionate engagement Medication reminder Companionship activities such as games, puzzles, movies, arts and crafts etc.

Requirements:

18 years or older Prior experience working as a caregiver for at least one year is highly preferred but not reqiured (taking care of your own family member counts!) Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia prefered Long-term care experience that includes working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Reliable transportation Possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance Ability to pass a full employment background check Join us to provide heartfelt caregiving that truly makes a difference!
