Whether working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you will be a vital part of a dedicated caregiving community committed to delivering exceptional home and community care. Your compassionate attitude combined with your skills will create a positive, supportive environment for those in your care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to ensure overall safety and comfort Support clients during medical appointments or outings, ensuring safety and adherence to care protocols such as Alzheimer's or dementia-specific routines Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home environments, or group homes is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications upon hire Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease or dementia is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts effectively Strong communication skills for coordinating with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide respectful and personalized care Join us in delivering top-tier home care that transforms lives!
