Full Job Description Overview:
TLC Care Home is a warm, family-owned Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) located in Murrieta, California. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to join our team and provide quality care to our residents.
Duties:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance when needed Medication reminders and documentation Light housekeeping and laundry Monitor residents and report changes in condition Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and resident privacy requirements. Treat all residents with dignity, respect, kindness, and patience at all times. Must have experience caring for elderly residents, including bedridden and non-ambulatory individuals. Experience working with residents who have dementia, memory impairment, or cognitive decline is highly preferred. Must be patient, compassionate, and able to redirect residents calmly and respectfully. Always provide care with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a warm smile. Work cooperatively with family members, caregivers, hospice staff, home health staff, and management. Current TB clearance required. Current CPR certification required. Must pass fingerprint clearance/background check in accordance with California RCFE requirements. Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, and able to provide excellent resident care.
