This role requires someone comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and working with heavier-set clients in a safe and supportive manner. DESCRIPTION
- Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming) Medication reminders 24-hour care support (including overnight shifts) Ambulation assistance Support with PT/OT exercises Transfers (Hoyer lift, gait belt, transfer board) Wheelchair assistance Incontinence care Experience working with heavier-set clients Running errands (assigned tasks depending on the client) Comfortable around pets (dogs and cats a plus) ✔
YOU ARE... 1. HCA REGISTERED.
If you have worked with an in-home care agency in the past, you most likely already have this registration. If not, we can assist you with the registration process. Please note, if you are not registered, this process may take a few weeks to complete. 2.
RELIABLE AND COMPASSIONATE.
We are looking for dependable caregivers who genuinely care about their clients and take pride in providing quality care. 3.
EXPERIENCED.
You have hands-on experience supporting clients with diabetes, kidney failure, mobility challenges, and transfers using proper equipment and safety techniques.
