The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve, whether in a home, community, or facility setting. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient conditions. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Observe and report any significant changes in client health or behavior to healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, assisted living, or nursing homes is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's care is beneficial. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in health status effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
