The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with varying needs, including individuals with disabilities and dementia. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs as required. Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers. Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity of each client at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred but not required. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to assist individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate support. Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
