Direct Support Professional•
Anderson, Redding, Shasta Lake Location:
In-Person |Starting Pay:
$18./hr + Shift differential $250 Sign-On Bonus! Are you looking for meaningful, fulfilling work? Join our team and make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a supportive home setting.Position Overview:
We are seeking caring, reliable, and supportive individuals to assist our IDD residents with daily living tasks and help them thrive in a comfortable, home-like environment and to insure they have fun while living with us.Requirements:
- Must be caring, supportive, and reliable
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
- Must be able to perform a two-person lift (up to 175 lbs)
- Physical exam and TB test required
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with hygiene, dressing, and other daily care needs
- Provide behavior redirection and support when necessary
- Teach and support independent living skills
- Perform household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organizing
- Administer daily medications
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments when needed
- Complete daily charting and documentation accurately
Schedule:
- Full-Time Graveyard and Split Shifts (Night shift differential included)
Expected Hours:
40 hours per week- Other shifts (Split Shifts) {6a-9a
- {3p-8p}
Pay & Benefits:
Starting Wage:
$18. per hour- Night and Split Shift Differential Pay
