Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Compassionate Caregiver for Male Veteran We are seeking a reliable, caring, and compassionate caregiver to provide support for a male veteran several days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the life of a senior while building a long-term, trusting relationship.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with personal care and grooming Helping the client get ready for the day Supporting and encouraging prescribed physical therapy exercises Accompanying the client on walks and light physical activities Providing companionship and engaging conversation Assisting with daily routines while promoting independence Providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
Qualifications:
Experience caring for clients with Parkinson's Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) required Kind, patient, dependable, and compassionate Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport and establish a meaningful long-term relationship with the client Experience with personal care and mobility assistance preferred Ability to encourage physical activity while ensuring client safety This client is looking for more than just a caregiver—he is looking for someone who can become a trusted companion, provide consistent support, and help maintain his quality of life. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging, and committed to providing exceptional care while respecting the dignity and independence of a proud veteran.
