$20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Home Care Aide Certification Caregiving First aid Assisting with ADLs First Aid Certification Direct support Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate individual to work as a respite caregiver for a 19-year-old boy with slight developmental disability (autism) Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as supervision during bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Follow care plans and report any changes in the client's condition
Constant supervision because client may eat paint
Work with individuals with autism in a private home setting Qualifications Registered as a Home Care Aide (HCA)
Experience as a caregiver is preferred
First aid certification is a plus
Strong communication skills and empathy
Ability to work well with others and independently
Willingness to clean and maintain a tidy environment
