Seeking caregivers for multiple positions throughout the East Bay. No experience required! Flexible schedules available!AVAILABLE WEEKLY SHIFTS
1st Client in Richmond Tuesday, 7am-10am Thursday 7am-10am Sunday 2pm-9pm Friday 2:15-9pm (Must be a driver) 2nd Client in Richmond Sunday 2pm-9pm Tuesdays 2:15pm-9pm (Must be a driver) Coverage shifts are often available on an as-needed (by clients) basis. We provide support to our clients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. There are also various shifts available working with other clients.ABOUT THE CLIENTS
Two women in their early 40s who have been long-time friends and roommates that have eventful schedules. Both women have intellectual disabilities and other health conditions that require daily support. Depending on the day, some shifts may involve working with only one client, and it may be a shift with one caregiver working with both clients at the same time. The right attendant for these clients will be comfortable supporting them with medication, cooking, light housework, and going out in the community. They will have an easygoing demeanor with clients and coworkers, who pay close attention to detail and take their work seriously. We encourage paraprofessionals, people with Special Education experience, epilepsy experience, and those working with people with Down syndrome to apply!DUTIES:
Our attendants assist our clients with any tasks necessary for them to live independently. These duties may include, but are not limited to, personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc), household upkeep, meal preparation, community outings, medication assistance and various other tasks.COMPENSATION
Starting rate is $21 to $23 an hour depending on experience.QUALIFICATIONS
You must be at least 18 years old with a valid CA driver license and currently be insured (we do sometimes have positions available that do not require an employee to have their license, but you absolutely must have a valid ID). You must be able to pass the Department of Justice fingerprint clearance and a separate background check prior to your first day of work. You must be able to obtain a CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months of employment.BENEFITS
