Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care to clients across diverse needs, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your proactive approach and attentive nature will foster trusting relationships, ensuring each individual receives the highest quality of support in the comfort of their own home. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Provide companionship through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support to enhance mental well-being Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision or guidance Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and client progress Skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, healthcare providers, and team members Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, demonstrating explicit knowledge of safety protocols Experience working with elderly populations or individuals requiring post-acute or sub-acute care is highly desirable Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, hospital medicine environments, or trauma center experience enhances caregiving capabilities Familiarity with outpatient clinic procedures, geriatrics, and inpatient care settings adds valuable expertise Demonstrated reliability and professionalism with a commitment to providing exceptional in-home care This role is essential in creating a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and supported.
