Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support within their own homes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for clients across diverse needs. Whether assisting with daily activities, managing health routines, or offering companionship, you will be a vital part of creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to bring warmth, professionalism, and expertise to home-based care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility support Conduct patient observation to identify potential issues early and communicate findings effectively to healthcare teams Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and adherence to individualized care plans Support clients with cognitive challenges such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through specialized memory care techniques Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to deliver comprehensive home & community care Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your ability to provide empathetic support Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and professional standards are upheld at all times Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Experience in caring for seniors or individuals requiring hospice or memory care services is advantageous Strong observational skills combined with patience and compassion are essential for success in this role Join us in delivering exceptional in-home care that empowers clients to live comfortably and confidently. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
