Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to individuals in need, generally the elderly
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Implement behavior management strategies for individuals with challenging behaviors
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments or outings
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as childcare, home care, or social work
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Ability to follow systems and protocols for providing care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
