Duties:

Promote resident rights and maintain a safe and comfortable environment Assist clients with activities of daily living Provide companionship and emotional support Administer medication reminders Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks Help clients with mobility and transportation needs

Qualifications :

Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred Knowledge of resident rights and principles of patient care Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Familiarity with medication administration systems is a plus Requirements Proficiency in direct support services Cooking skills for meal preparation Previous experience in home care is beneficial
