  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including nursing homes and home health environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Monitor and document vital signs as required, ensuring any changes are communicated to the healthcare team.
  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
  • Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with respect and dignity while providing compassionate care.
  • Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Skills
  • Experience in nursing home settings or senior care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively.
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Strong direct support skills for working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the caregiving environment.
  • Proficient in monitoring vital signs and understanding basic health indicators.
  • Background in home health or social work is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
