JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide high-quality care to residents in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Caregivers will assist residents with daily living activities and provide hands-on support for individuals who require total assistance due to limited mobility or being bed bound. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to maintaining the dignity, safety, and comfort of each resident.

We strongly live our value of a work-life balance by providing our employees with the following: We offer flexible work schedules on a variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments Weekend and evening opportunities, in-home and facility based Responsibilities Provide total assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Assist residents who are bed bound or have limited mobility. Perform safe transfers and repositioning to prevent skin breakdown and maintain comfort. Assist with incontinence care and toileting needs. Support residents during meals and hydration. Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff or management. Maintain a clean and safe living environment. Document care provided according to facility policies. Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights guidelines. Provide compassionate care for clients with developmental disabilities, including individuals with behavioral support needs, while promoting safety, dignity, and independence in accordance with the care plan. Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred (RCFE, assisted living, home care, or skilled nursing). Ability to assist with bed bound residents and full ADL support. Comfortable performing transfers, repositioning, and personal care. Ability to lift and assist residents up to 50 lbs. Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly residents. Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of one (1) year of documented health care experience (unless participating in an approved Mentor Program) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to travel within Sacramento and surrounding counties Preferred Certifications CPR / First Aid Certification Experience working with elderly or mobility-impaired residents.
