In this role, you will support residents in their daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and monitor vital signs as needed Help with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document care activities accurately and promptly Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain compliance with safety procedures including first aid, emergency response protocols, and infection control standards Support residents' participation in community outings or transportation needs if applicable Collaborate effectively with team members, healthcare professionals, and family members to deliver comprehensive care Qualifications Prior experience residential group homes. Certification or training in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as medication administration or vital signs monitoring are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document care activities Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required for community outings or appointments Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks including lifting, transferring, and standing for extended periods Pass background check, TB test, and drug screen DSP 1 & 2, CPR/First Aid, RBT, or similar experience
