Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in a home setting, assisted living facility, or group home, your dedication will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for every day. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as required Administer medications safely following prescribed instructions and care plans Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and ensuring a safe environment Conduct regular patient observation to identify potential health concerns or safety issues promptly Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to assist with heavy lifting or transfers safely and effectively Document all care activities accurately and collaborate with healthcare professionals to update care plans as needed Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving approach Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Valid certifications in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in hospice care or home health are a plus Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks over extended periods while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives!
