Full-Time, Live-In (Room & Board Included)Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level individual who is serious about building a long-term career in caregiving and residential care management. This is a unique opportunity to receive hands-on training while working with one resident in the late stages of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). This role is designed for someone with the vision and commitment to grow into a licensed professional caregiver and Assistant Administrator of a licensed RCFE facility within 12 months .Compensation Structure:
First 60 days: $600 monthly stipend Next 90 days: $1,000/month salaryThereafter:
$1,800-$2,000/month (Room and board included during the 12 mo. live-in period)Important:
We are not seeking experienced or currently licensed caregivers . This position is specifically for individuals looking to enter the field and grow professionally.Ideal Candidate:
Mature individual (preferred: female) seeking a meaningful career transition Compassionate, patient, and dependable Willing to commit to training, licensing, and long-term growth Comfortable in a live-in environmentKey Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor and document changes in health or behavior Support meal preparation and feeding Maintain cleanliness in resident and shared spaces Follow individualized care plans Provide medication reminders and basic monitoring (under supervision) Assist with safe transfers (training provided, including Hoyer lift use) Support memory care needs (dementia/FTD care) Maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) Participate in CPR and first aid trainingQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent No prior experience required (training provided) Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor Physically able to assist with lifting and mobility support Willingness to learn patient care techniques and procedures Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality Preferred (but not required): Exposure to caregiving, assisted living, or healthcare environments Interest in working with dementia, hospice, or special needs populationsWhat You'll Gain:
