Role Overview:

As an Experienced Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized care to seniors in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our healthcare team to ensure each client receives the highest standard of care and support. Whether you work on-site in San Jose, you'll have the flexibility to create a positive and impactful environment for those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their home is comfortable. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to share updates and address concerns.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy and compassion toward clients and their families. Ability to comply with health and safety regulations (e.g., hygiene protocols). Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and potentially overnight shifts.

Bonus If You:

Have CPR and First Aid certifications. Are bilingual, especially in Spanish. Possess any specialized training in care practices for seniors.

This is a Part-Time position that may include availability on weekends.
