Purpose:

Assists elders with their daily living activities. Provide personal care and companionship.

Job Description:

• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Help patients with daily tasks such as personal grooming and meal preparation.
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to the Client Care Manager / Staffing Department.
• Perform housekeeping duties, such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry and running errands.
• Accompany Client to appointments or errands
• Instruct and advise Clients on issues such as household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene and nutrition. Job Qualifications
• Valid CPR / First-Aid Certification
• Current TB Test
• Live Scan - Fingerprint Clearance
• Must have 5 hours training or more on Basic Health and Safety Training, Emergency Procedures, Liabilities of Caregiving
• Highly professional with a friendly and cheerful personality
• Excellent human relations, reliable and responsible
• Excellent communication skills
• Registered to perform home care services in the State of California (Registered Home Care Aide) Work Experience
• Preferably one year experience in a home, facility or assisted living. Education
• High School diploma or
