Job Description
Caregiver - New 6-Bed RCFE in Santa Rosa $20/hour We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at Fernwood Care Facility LLC, a brand-new 6-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Santa Rosa. We are preparing to open our doors in early to mid-July 2026 . Paid training and orientation will begin in late June for selected candidates. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. At Fernwood Care Facility, caregiving is more than a job — it's a calling. We value, support, and empower our caregivers every day. Requirements Previous caregiving or direct support experience preferred (will train the right person) Reliable transportation and ability to pass a Live Scan background check Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient attitude Willingness to work morning, afternoon, evening, or night shifts Must be reliable and committed to resident rights and dignity Responsibility Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs Administer medications as prescribed and document properly Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment Document care and report any changes in resident condition Work collaboratively with the team and family members What We Offer Competitive pay of $20 per hour Flexible scheduling (we can work with your availability) Supportive small-team environment (only 6 residents) Paid training Opportunity to grow with a brand-new facility If you are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of seniors, we would love to meet you!
