This vital role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while assisting with daily caregiving activities such as diaper changing and feeding. As a Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve by offering personalized care tailored to each individual's unique needs. This position offers an opportunity to be a part of a team who work together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families. Duties Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, and meal serving for young children ages 0-4 Support infants and toddlers with age-appropriate care including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines Offer companionship and emotional support to foster positive relationships and social interaction Maintain detailed records of care activities, health updates, and developmental milestones Attend monthly trainings and weekly staff meetings Skills Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques CPR trained Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for caregiving roles involving infants, toddlers, and children of all ages Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs while maintaining a safe environment Be willing to be trained in the Pikler/ RIE approach Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions Ability to lift children 25 lbs or more comfortably
