Schedule:
Flexible, Part-Time or Full-Time (flexible scheduling based on family needs)
Compensation:

Service Area:
San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley Summary of the Role Anchor Point Respite Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Respite Care Workers to support children and adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This role provides families with trusted support while helping individuals develop daily living skills, participate in activities, and maintain safe, engaging routines. Key Responsibilities Provide supervision and support in home and community settings Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, dressing, feeding, and toileting Engage clients in activities, games, outings, and recreational programs Maintain established routines and support individual goals Ensure client safety and well-being at all times Support behavioral needs through positive redirection and encouragement Communicate effectively with families and agency staff Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related needs OR Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Valid California driver's license and auto insurance Ability to pass Live Scan background screening Preferred Spanish speaking Experience as a caregiver, respite worker, paraeducator, school aide, ABA technician, or support staff Familiarity with Regional Center services Top 3 Must-Have Skills Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiving approach Strong communication and observation skills Apply Now Looking for flexible work that makes a meaningful difference in your community?
