In-Home Support Post-Hospital & End-of-Life Care Mobility & Medication Assistance Role Overview:
As a Weekend Caregiver at Comfort Keepers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure that each client receives the support they need to maintain their independence and joy. Whether you work on weekends, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and personal care to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients with mobility and medication management. Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Document care activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in caregiving or a related field. Strong communication skills Compassionate and patient demeanor in handling clients' needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends and provide on-site care at clients residence.
Bonus If You:
Have prior experience with Alzheimer's and dementia care. Hold certification in CPR/First Aid. Possess additional language skills.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Part-Time variable and requires availability on weekends.
Location:
This position is on-site only, located at client's residence
