Caregiver Post-Injury & Recovery Support (Flexible Shifts)

Job Overview We are a locally owned Home Helpers® Home Care agency serving Santa Ana, Tustin, Orange, Costa Mesa, and Irvine, and we are actively hiring caregivers to support adults recovering from injury or surgery. These cases involve mobility assistance, basic personal care, and supervision during recovery. We are building a reliable caregiver team for both current and upcoming assignments. Responsibilities Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention Support with personal care (as needed) Provide supervision and ensure client safety Light housekeeping and simple meal prep Help clients stay on track with recovery routines Observe patient conditions closely, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care. What to Expect (Important): Mix of shorter shifts (2-6 hours) and longer assignments Some cases start part-time and grow into more hours Flexible scheduling based on your availability Ongoing opportunities as new cases come in

Requirements:

Caregiving experience preferred (home care, facility, or personal) Reliable transportation Eligible to work in the U.S. Able to pass background check Dependable and responsive Bonus if you: Are comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers Have experience with recovery or rehab support Are open to flexible schedules and picking up additional shifts Caregivers who are reliable and responsive will be prioritized for consistent, longer-hour cases as they become available.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
