This position is perfect for individuals who are dedicated to delivering person-centered care and helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and overall quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Candidates who are willing to work in nearby locations such as Sacramento, Fairfield, Davis, and surrounding areas will be given priority. Required Qualifications All applicants must meet the following requirements: Active Home Care Aide (HCA) ID or PER ID listed on the California Home Care Aide Registry Valid California Driver's License Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance (may be required for transportation) Negative TB test completed within the last 90 days Ability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs Spanish-speaking skills preferred (to support Spanish-speaking clients) Key Responsibilities As a Caregiver at GentleHands Home Care, you will: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding Support clients while promoting independence, dignity, and comfort Prepare meals and assist with feeding while monitoring nutrition and hydration Provide companionship and emotional support Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean environment Give medication reminders in accordance with care plans and agency policies Accurately document care provided and report any changes in client condition Follow all safety, emergency, and infection-control protocols Communicate effectively with the care coordination team Why Join GentleHands Home Care?
