Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in care settings such as nursing homes, hospice care, or home care, and will be committed to fostering a supportive environment.
MUST HAVE AN
HCA and
NEGATIVE TB TEST
Must be able to commit to an on-going schedule and be available weekends when needed. Apply online @ https://www.heritageseniorcare.com/careers Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' social interactions and overall well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Lift and assist clients as needed while maintaining their dignity and comfort. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in accordance with health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia care required. Background in nursing home settings or long-term care facilities is advantageous. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow prescribed interventions effectively. Experience in hospice care or home care is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach to caregiving that prioritizes the needs of clients while promoting their independence.
