Hourly Pay:
$20.00 The Community Trainer will be employed from approximately 8:30am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The total paid hours will be approximately 27-29 hours per week. Your day starts when you arrive at the first client's home for pick-up and ends after dropping off your last client.
PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION
The Community Trainer will train in the goals and objectives addressed in the client's Community Training Plan and complete current daily progress notes and progress summaries as required in a manner that meets regulatory and legal requirements and oversee all health information and implementation
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
GED/High School Diploma and/or an associate's degree in human services Minimum six (6) months experience working with Developmental Disabled Adults Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills (Ability to read, write and speak English fluently) Current Driver's License with clean DMV record Must be able to pass a fingerprint screening through the Department of Justice Must possess a vehicle that can safely transport up to five people Must carry $30,000/$60,000 Person/Accident and $25,000 property, vehicle insurance coverage Must pass a pre-employment physical, including back x-ray, lift carry test to fifty pounds, drug screening, and TB test. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications (must have been an in-person training, not virtual/online)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project a professional image through in-person, electronic and client interactions Will provide training to clients as addressed in the Community Training Plans Will provide and project appropriate documentation addressing client needs and progress Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Converse with and respond to clients, families and caregivers in a familiar and respectful manner that exhibits patience, caring, tact and professionalism Able to actively and positively represent Innovative Business Partnerships in a manner that reflects respect and dignity while among clients, family members, caregivers, visitors, social workers, outside agency representatives and co-workers Ability to maintain confidentiality Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative process with other co-workers in a congenial manner Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks / workload so that all functions are completed appropriately Will attend and participate in staff meetings Will attend and participate in client related meetings when needed Must be able to transport yourself and up to 4 other adults (clients) during program hours. Assist clients with basic needs and functions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Moves intermittently during working hours, extensive mobility in and out of a vehicle Subject to frequent interruptions May be required to assist in the evacuation of clients, family members, caregivers, and visitors during emergency situations
PHYSICAL & SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
