Requirements:

Must be able to follow regulated rules per title 17 & 22 (regional centers and community care centers) Ability to understand/enforce/implement the structured programs. Must be able to thoroughly clean per Title 17 and 22! Cleaning is major and is equally important when it comes to the DSP role, ensuring clients' health and safety are managed. Sanitation and cleanliness are major! Must be able to cook Detailed oriented, Efficient, and reliable Management and organizational skills Computer literate. Reliable car and valid auto insurance Strong domestic skills (maintain office & household environment). Duties will include supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by cooking and meal prep, thorough cleaning, meeting their individual needs and goals, being observant, having the ability to work with clients with behaviors and ability to administer medications. Transporting individuals to and from medical appointments and recreational activities via company vehicle. Assisting with creating behavior plans, guidelines along with person-centered planning, teaching self-care skills.
