Full Job Description Shift Hours:
Evening Shift:
3 PM to 11 :30 PM NOC Shift 11pm to 7:30 am
Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as caregivers for individuals with mental challenges. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing support, supervision, and assistance to our clients, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Client Supervision:
  • Monitor the clients, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities, encouraging social interaction.
2.
Personal Care:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities.
  • Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed routines.
3.
Housekeeping:
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, including laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying.
  • Ensure that common areas are safe and welcoming.
5.
Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress, incidents, and changes in condition.
  • Report any concerns or emergencies to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
6.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other caregivers to ensure excellent care.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or mental health support preferred.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with mental challenges is not required but is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting clients.

  • Interviews will begin on Monday March 16th. A detailed list of duties and responsibilities will be provided during the interview process.
