As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with autism. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with daily living activities and mobility support, including heavy lifting when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Support individuals in group home settings or private residences by fostering independence and encouraging social interaction. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or social work is preferred. Familiarity with patient care techniques, medication administration, and working with individuals with autism is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
