We are seeking dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional care to seniors throughout West Covina and surrounding communities . This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who are adaptable, professional, and passionate about helping seniors maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. We are looking for individuals who can confidently navigate different cultural backgrounds, family dynamics, and varying levels of care needs.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Prepare nutritious meals and snacks Perform light housekeeping and laundry Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed Follow care plans and communicate effectively with families and the care team Monitor changes in clients' conditions and report concerns promptly

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Ability to work two shifts per day that combine to create an 8-hour workday Experience providing full personal care assistance Experience working with clients diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Dementia, and memory-related conditions Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Dependable, professional, and compassionate Comfortable working independently in clients' homes

Ideal Candidate:

Has experience caring for seniors with cognitive impairments and varying levels of physical assistance needs Is comfortable providing hands-on personal care Can adapt to different cultural backgrounds and family dynamics with professionalism and respect Is a self-starter who takes initiative and works independently Has patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills Is comfortable around cats and dogs Is comfortable working in homes where clients or family members may smoke Is flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care

Compensation:

$18.00
