Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans. Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Assist clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental challenges. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
