Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Aide to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients, particularly in settings such as assisted living facilities for individuals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of care and safety. Duties Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and safety of residents. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting vital signs and changes in condition. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide support in acute care situations, responding promptly to patient needs. Engage with residents, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their well-being. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility. Requirements Previous experience in senior care. Experience in a nursing home or similar setting is advantageous. Strong caregiving skills, demonstrating empathy and patience towards residents. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families. A commitment to providing high-quality care in an acute care environment is highly valued.
