If you are reliable, caring, and committed to making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. The Caregiver/Driver provides personal care services and authorized transportation to AOC clients at the AOC Day Center. Transportation services are provided using company-owned vehicles in accordance with AOC policies. This role promotes client safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life while complying with all federal, State of Colorado, and local regulations. This is a non-exempt, at-will position. Monday -
Thursday Caregiving Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care (transfers, mobility, toileting, hygiene, dressing, ADLs) Follow individualized care plans within scope of training Administer medications if QMAP certified and authorized (preferred or willing to obtain) Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping Complete required documentation accurately and timely Report changes in client condition and safety concerns immediately Participate in life enrichment and therapeutic activities Follow infection control, OSHA, and workplace safety standards
Transportation Responsibilities:
Safely transport authorized clients using AOC company vehicles Follow all Colorado traffic laws and safe driving practices Ensure proper seat belt use and client safety during transport Maintain a valid Colorado driver's license Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Immediately report any accident, citation, or driving status change
Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Driver's License Acceptable criminal background check (per CDHS regulations) Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) QMAP, First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and stand for extended periods Maintain HIPAA confidentiality Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Join our team today if you're ready to bring your energy and dedication into a role that truly makes a difference!
