I.S.E. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! R.I.S.E. Our purpose is to support the community by offering 24 hour care to teenage boys who are in transitional care. Children at R.I.S.E. are generally under our care for 3-12 months while undergoing treatment before moving on/graduating from our program. We are seeking 2 candidates to fill the following shifts: Thursdays (24 hour shift) Every other Saturday (24 hour shift) Every other Sunday (24 hour shift) Please be aware that R.I.S.E. is a residential facility that provides children with a warm, home-like environment. This position includes overnight care responsibilities as part of the role. Responsibilities Supervise daily activities of youth, ensuring safety and engagement in all programs Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating situations with calm professionalism Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately under QMAP protocols Maintain detailed records, including data collection, filing, and progress notes Support home and community care initiatives by coordinating services and facilitating communication with families and external providers Requirements 1 year professional experience working directly with children in a psychiatric or direct care function OR 60 credit hours of college coursework completed QMAP certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days BLS/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days Valid Drivers License R.I.S.E. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
