In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your energetic approach and attentive nature will ensure residents and patients receive the highest quality of care, promoting their independence, comfort, and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to enhancing quality of life through compassionate caregiving. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor patient observations closely, and help them maintain a clean living environment. Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care activities, and hospice support to ensure comfort and safety. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while maintaining proper food safety standards; handle laundry and light house cleaning to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications Education :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Training :
Completion of a state-approved Personal Care Aide or Home Care Aide training program, if required by state regulations
Experience :
Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred but not required.
Other Requirements:
Successful completion of background check and health clearance (including TB screening) if required by state . Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients safely as needed. Reliable transportation if required for client visits or travel. From $18.00 per hour
