The Group Home Youth Treatment Counselor will supervise and act as a role model for youth/young adults that live in the home, creating and ensuring that a physically and emotionally safe environment is provided for the youth.

Job duties will include:

Helping to create and implement daily activities to foster the development of independent living skills Transporting residents to appointments and outings Documenting any incidents and information that addresses the needs of the residents Completing daily progress notes on each resident Supporting residents using therapeutic crisis intervention as needed

Schedule:

40 hours per week, evenings (2:30pm-10:30pm) and weekends (9am-9pm)

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma/GED 2 years of experience working with teens Clean Background Valid Driver's License/Good driving record Basic computer skills Good writing and comprehension skills
