Caregiver

Above and Beyond Healthcare Inc is an in-home care and assistance agency that provides supportive, non-medical care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and dependable individuals to join our team as a Companion, Caregiver, or Homemaker.

We are looking for:

Part-time and full-time employees who are caring, responsible, and committed to helping clients maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Assisting with household chores, including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry. Assisting with activities such as shopping and appointments outside the home. Providing personal care services in accordance with agency policies, requirements, and the client's service plan. A full list of services will be provided once the care plan is established. Providing non-medical in-home care and assistance. Completing required documentation regarding services provided, including date, time in and out, and confirmation that care was provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Completion of an appropriate training program or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of safety practices in the home care setting. Understanding of family interactions and the aging process. Basic knowledge of nutrition and food service. Ability to observe, report, and accurately document the client's care and condition. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, staff members, and the general public.

Special Requirements:

Valid and current Colorado picture ID and Social Security card. Clear criminal background history. Access to reliable public or personal transportation. A personal vehicle is not required, as transporting clients in the employee's vehicle is not allowed.
