  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, reliable Caregiver/QMAP to provide high-quality care to residents in a residential assisted living home.
Current shifts needed include:
  • Nourish AL at
Indore:
overnight 12 hour shift Friday (7p-7a)
  • Nourish AL at
Indore:
daytime 24 hour shift Saturday-Sunday (7a-7a)
  • this can also be a separate 12 hour shift 7a-7p and a 12 hour shift 7p-7a
  • Nourish AL at
Brandt:
Wednesday 7am-Thursday 7am, 24 hour shift

Saturday 7am-Sunday 7am, 24 hour shift Other shifts may become available as well! The ideal candidate will have experience working with memory and dementia care. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, medication administration, and ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. The Caregiver/QMAP will play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life through personalized care and compassionate support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Must be able to lift and transfer Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature as needed Provide Alzheimer's and dementia-specific care, including memory support and behavior management Meal preparation Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks Document resident care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in resident condition, utilizing first aid skills when necessary Qualifications Valid QMAP certification required; prior experience as a caregiver preferred Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care in a respectful manner Familiarity with medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring Strong communication skills and compassionate nature essential for working with seniors and vulnerable populations Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document care activities Valid driver's license CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required if not already held This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while working in a supportive team environment.
