Job Description

Overview The Care Associate plays a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in various care settings.. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care and attention. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Support clients in maintaining their rights and promoting their independence. Engage with clients through meaningful activities that foster social interaction and emotional well-being. Must know how to ride a bicycle. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents. Skills Experience in non-medical, in home personal and companion care and respite care. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy practices. Knowledge in CPR techniques and emergency response procedures. Understanding of Dementia, Alzhiemers, Lewy Body, Parkinsons Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach towards the aging community or other special needs.
