Competitive Pay Based on Experience + Future Growth Opportunities ⸻ About The Role We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, emotionally intelligent caregiver to assist with the daily support and quality of life of a high functioning, active and stable young adult male with disabilities in a private, luxury residential setting in Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who: genuinely enjoys helping others, values patience and consistency, thrives in a calm, supportive environment, and wants long-term growth opportunities within a future residential care and group home organization. The initial role focuses on providing one-on-one private caregiving support. As our licensed residential care homes expand, qualified caregivers may transition into additional opportunities within one or more future group homes under our organization. This is more than a caregiving job. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of a mission-driven care team dedicated to dignity, safety, compassion, structure, and improving quality of life. ⸻ Responsibilities Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and toileting as needed Support mobility, transfers, and daily routines Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and support Health & Safety Support Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration per care plans Monitor health, behavior, mood, and environmental safety Observe and document changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately Household & Daily Living Support Prepare healthy meals and assist with meal planning Perform light housekeeping, laundry, organization, and cleaning Maintain a calm, structured, safe, and supportive living environment Emotional & Social Support Provide companionship, patience, and emotional support Encourage positive engagement, communication, and routine Assist with recreational activities, walks, outings, or social interaction when appropriate Specialized Support Experience or comfort with the following is highly valued: developmental disabilities autism spectrum disorders behavioral support dementia or memory care mental health support mobility assistance hospice or higher-acuity caregiving ⸻ Qualifications Preferred Experience Previous caregiving, DSP, CNA, home care, or assisted living experience preferred Experience supporting adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus Required Skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Strong communication and reliability Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefully Emotional maturity and professionalism Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy Certifications Preferred CPR / First Aid Certification QMAP or medication administration experience preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Physical Requirements Ability to assist with mobility and transfers when needed Ability to perform lifting or physical support safely ⸻ Growth Opportunities As our residential care operations expand in Colorado and other states, caregivers who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, leadership, and compassion may have opportunities for: additional hours, supervisory roles, lead caregiver positions, future residential/group home staffing opportunities, and long-term growth within our organization. ⸻ Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: kind-hearted, emotionally grounded, dependable, calm under pressure, respectful, and truly passionate about helping vulnerable individuals live with dignity and quality of life.
