Job Description

Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, mental status, and overall condition; report changes promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Maintain cleanliness of client living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to safely move residents with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with privacy standards like HIPAA and facility protocols Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home health, or group home settings is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications upon hire Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or hospice care is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while maintaining resident dignity and comfort Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and support residents' social needs Demonstrated compassion, patience, and dedication to providing excellent patient-centered care Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives the attention they deserve. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
