We are looking for CNA's to provide quality personal care services to our residents including: Bathing and helping dress residents Serving meals and helping residents eat Taking vital signs Turning or repositioning patients residents who are unable to change their own position in bed or in their chair Following resident's care plans Providing and emptying bedpans Lifting residents into beds, wheelchairs, etc. Answering call bells Knowing the residents and reporting any change in condition such as bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds Cleaning and sanitizing residents rooms and other patient care areas Changing bed sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies Occasionally providing transportation and/or accompanying to appointments Our nursing unit is organized in the primary care nursing model, meaning that a group of residents usually has a fixed caregiver which allows the residents and staff to become familiar with each other in order to better respond to their individualized needs. This position is usually filled by a full-time CNA while the part-time CNAs fill-in for their days off. Part-time CNAs are valued for their flexibility, openness and understanding of all the residents on the unit. Shift differential for evening and night shift.
