Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients across various care settings, including home, assisted living, and long-term care in a private home.. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to delivering personalized care that enhances quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly Administer medications according to care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Plan outings for lunch Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts & modified vehicle ensuring safety during transfers Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning tasks to promote a healthy environment Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred but willin to train the right pEdson. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional certifications in dementia or Alzheimer's care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is advantageous.
