Join our team as an Independent Living Skills Trainer and play a vital role in guiding individuals toward self-advocacy, independence, and community integration. What You'll Do As an Independent Living Skills Trainer, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working directly with individuals to help them build the skills they need to live independently and confidently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting individuals in developing daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care. Supporting individuals in navigating community resources and services. Encouraging self-advocacy and independence through personalized training and mentorship. Collaborating with families and other support systems to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of progress and activities. What We're Looking For We're seeking a compassionate and motivated individual who is ready to make a positive impact. To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or similar populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
