This vital role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with aging, disabilities, or health conditions. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment while ensuring all medical and personal needs are met with professionalism and empathy. This position is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to deliver personalized care in a supportive setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs, medication administration, and reporting changes in condition Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice support, and catheter care Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and securely Support patients with medical procedures such as Hoyer lift transfers, wound care, and managing medical devices Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and patient documentation standards (HIPAA compliance) Ability to observe patients closely for changes in condition and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; ability to drive clients safely as needed Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, Hospice Care training preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities Join us in delivering heartfelt care that enhances quality of life!
